Here are 10 simple steps to having well-groomed teeth:

  1. Rinse your mouth whenever you eat. Brush your teeth at least twice a day, 30 minutes after eating.

  2. Use a manual or electric toothbrush and an oral irrigator to optimize cleaning on all dental surfaces.

  3. Make sure the brushes of the brush are medium or soft so as not to injure the gums. Carefully brush your teeth around the gum in circular motions.

  4. Replace the brush every 3 months or when you notice that the brushes are flared. Do not clean your tongue with a toothbrush. Use a tongue cleaner.

  5. Clean your teeth daily with interdental floss, mouthwash or floss or interdental brushes, especially if you have dental work.

  6. Use a whitening toothpaste, alternate with a remineralizing toothpaste or one with mint or fennel. Choose a transparent mouthwash or for teeth whitening.

  7. Schedule your professional oral hygiene to clean the tartar, eliminate halitosis and treat small caries in time.

  8. Limit smoking and sugar. Eat vegetables, fruits, meat, eggs, fresh fish, cooked as simply as possible. Avoid processed and sticky foods.

  9. Whiten your teeth at home with braces and gel from the dentist or with Crest strips. Follow the post-bleaching instructions.

  10. Avoid sweet or intensely colored carbonated drinks and juices. Drink natural or alkaline water.
